Prayers sticks are a blessing to behold, to make and to receive.
The Divine Fellowship adopted the Native American practice of creating Prayer Sticks to show support and comfort to those grieving or suffering. To see a yard filled with Prayer Sticks made with love uplifts the soul and heals the heart. Join in our tradition by creating a Prayer Stick for yourself and one for The Divine Fellowship to “Stick It” to someone who really could use joy and comfort in their life.
They are handmade out of sticks, adorned with yarn, ribbon, charms, feathers and other items of your imagination. They are most often placed in the yard or somewhere where the wind will play with them. The movement reactivates the prayer or intention with which they were made.
